Hello CAAMPERS,
My name is Dan Jenne, your incoming Chair of CAAMP. It is my pleasure to introduce and share a little about myself and how I became involved in CAAMP.
My story begins with being hired in 1997 by Discovery Marketing Traveling Roadshows, now known as ASI Advantages Roadshows. During my employment with Discovery, I developed knowledge of the industry through management and sales of shows, working with both suppliers and distributors. I was also able to attend many of the larger national and regional events, where I was able, to not only build more relationships, but had an opportunity to attend educational seminars.
In 2005, I left Discovery and became the Bullet Line Southeast Regional Manager for the Carolinas and Tennessee. It was then that I had the pleasure of meeting Donna Horton, the current President of the CAAMP. I already had a heart for volunteering and getting involved, and after meeting Donna, I was sure I wanted to be an active part of the CAAMP organization. Almost immediately, I became involved on the CAAMP show committee, which was a perfect fit! Through working on this committee, I realized I had a place to grow with CAAMP.
Now as the incoming Chair, my excitement continues as we look forward to 2008 and growing our membership, bringing our association to the next level of volunteership and professional development. As we always say “It’s all about relationships!” The goal of the CAAMP board is to enhance our value for both our distributor and supplier members by making the most of all resources; technology, volunteers, education, professional development, special events and shows.
In 2008, as always, we welcome and encourage comments and questions, because our members are what make us strong. Please feel free to contact me at djenne@bulletline.com or 843-655-4348, Mary Elizabeth (CEO of CAAMP), or any other board member.
Sincerely and Excitedly,
Dan Jenne |
