Mary Elizabeth Murphy has been named Executive Director of Carolinas Association of Advertising and Marketing Professionals, Inc. (CAAMP)

Mary Elizabeth has experienced over two decades in the corporate, entrepreneurial and non-profit arenas of management, operations, sales, marketing, and training. Her professional career includes positions as Director of Marketing for a Burger King franchise with 11 restaurants in Michigan and Market Support Specialist for national retail loss prevention system company Checkpoint Inc. in Thorofare, New Jersey. Prior to S.T.A.R. Resources, Mary Elizabeth owned and operated a highly successful gift basket and balloon decorating retail store called A Real Basket Case in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Mary Elizabeth is an expert in teaching individuals and organizations how to produce more, earn more, and achieve more. She inspires, teaches, molds, and guides groups and individuals within large corporations, small businesses, government agencies and non-profit organizations to personal and professional performance success. She was named by national training and development publication T+D Magazine as a recipient of the prestigious 2004 Training’s New Guard for her ability to inspire others with her passion, determination and success. Mary Elizabeth was also named the Small Business Administration’s 2005 North Carolina Women in Business Champion of the Year for her commitment to the advancement of women’s business ownership.

Mary Elizabeth is heavily involved in the Charlotte community, holding leadership positions in American Society of Training and Development, Federation of North Carolina Business and Professional Women, WomenFIRST, Greater Piedmont Division of the March of Dimes, Mecklenburg County Women’s Commission Displaced Homemakers Program and International Management Council Cabarrus County.
